When a child is comfortable with their body, they are able to move better, develop, & learn.
Hello! I am Hazel Legaspi. I am a pediatric physical therapist and I love helping children move with ease and witnessing the joy that comes from them experiencing new movement.
I am a functional movement expert and use a holistic approach because for me, movement involves so much more than strength and range of motion. Every child is unique and I use a variety of therapeutic modalities to suit their individual needs.
I am a lover of knowledge and continuously seek to improve my therapeutic skills. I used to think that the nervous system was the cornerstone of movement because it's what connects the brain and muscles. But after incorporating manual fascial work as taught by John Barnes MFR and Gillespie CFT, I have learned that fascia plays a huge role in how the body moves, feels, and heals.
Having a child or multiple children with therapeutic needs can at times be very challenging and overwhelming for a parent. I understand this both as a clinician and as a mother, I am here to help make the journey of physical wellbeing and greater mobility easier so that you can enjoy all of the fun that comes with a mobile and happy child. I am here to help your child thrive and move by helping them unlock their full potential.

“Doctor Hazel is a very attentive and nurturing person. She uses myofascial release techniques coupled with stretches and exercises to assist you in feeling your best and functioning as you should. It has been a pleasure to be under her care and I have noticed a marked increase in ease of movement, decrease in pain and discomfort, and overall better understanding of my body's function and how to better take care of myself. She is very much invested in and is always seeking ways to better herself and her practice without pretense or attitude. Her approachable, nurturing, and earnest care for her clients make her a perfect care provider."

I can help ensure your child achieves all their developmental milestones at the right time. Wellness visits will ensure your child stays on track and early detection of developmental needs can be addressed sooner. You and your child get my undivided attention every session for a full hour. No worrying about your child having to get to know a new therapist every week. No getting distracted by all the ruckus in the clinic.
Save time from driving to and from a clinic. No worrying about timing snacks, naps, and potty time with the drive time. Less stress from all the transitions between home to car, car ride to parking lot, parking lot to waiting room, waiting room to session- - - and all the way back home. More time with your little one!
Ease of mind that I have the professional experience of working with children from a wide range of ages (birth through adolescence) and medical histories to identify key areas to work on. I will advocate for their overall physical and health needs. I can assist your child in getting the proper equipment they need.
